Spring in Nashville ~ Lots to do and see!

Whenever I think of spring in Nashville, lots of places come to mind. This year there are many fun places to visit to have some fun. For example, Bass Prop Shop is having Easter activities from March 27 through April 4th. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance along with lot of games and crafts for the younger kids at heart.
Then there is the Belmont Mansion’s First Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3rd. This is a free event and will feature prizes, a petting zoo and of course the Eater Bunny. Cheekwood’s Spring Art Hop will also be held on Saturday April 3rd where families will enjoy an Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself.
Exploring in Nashville is fun for everyone of every age! Young, old and everyone in between. Looking for the finest museums, attractions and events is easy. I suggest every Nashvillian enjoy our own city and check out the sites we have to offer.
At Bob Parks Realty, we like to share what Nashville has to offer by taking a tour of downtown. Start at Fort Nashboro and wind up at Centennial Park for a picnic. When we have clients coming in from out of town who may be relocating or thinking about moving to Nashville an area tour is a great way to kick off the day.
When searching for homes in Nashville we start by searching on: www.bobparks.com by area, price range or schools.
Needless to say, there are lots of activities going on in Nashville this season. For more information click here.

Outside the doors of its rowdy bars, chic nightspots, lounges, and clubs, Nashville offers a variety of cultural attractions and entertainment for the whole family. The premier theatre venue in town is the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, which occupies an entire city block and is home to not only the Tennessee Repertory Theatre, but also the Nashville Opera, Nashville Ballet, and the Nashville Children’s Theatre. Major visual art museums in Nashville include the Frist Center for the Visual Arts and the Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art, not to mention the Nashville Parthenon, which is a full-scale replica of the original and a postcard-perfect icon of the city that once held the nickname “Athens of the South.” History buffs young and old will find plenty of things to do in Nashville; the city celebrates its rich heritage by preserving several fascinating historical sites, such as the Belle Meade Plantation, Belmont Mansion, and the Hermitage—home and burial site of President Andrew Jackson. And when the little ones want to exercise their legs and lungs, Nashville offers a variety of kid-friendly diversions, including A Cowboy Town theme park, Adventure Science Center, and the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. Whether you are looking to kill a couple of hours, spend an entire week’s vacation, or settle down for a life, Nashville is the place to be.
