Bob Parks Realty has been a proud sponsor of Christmas 4 Kids for the last 9 years. 

The Bob Parks Realty Sumner office holds an auction every year to benefit children in our community who would otherwise not have as happy of a Christmas. In 2009 Bob Parks Realty reached over $100,000 in donations for Christmas 4 Kids!

Besides the Auction Bob Parks Realty holds, the other major fundraiser for Christmas 4 Kids is a concert that kicks off the season of giving the end of November every year. Charlie Daniels and Friends concert is a very fun night out. We have gone every year since we moved to Tennessee. It is fun to get to see some great artists while contributing to the Christmas 4 Kids fundraising efforts. Here you can see some photos from the event at the Ryman this year. We had a great time last night!!

Soon they will have their Tour Bus Show. 50 tour buses from top artists will arrive at the Hendersonville Wal-Mart on December 13th and open their doors for fans to see these artists home-away-from-home and see what it is like for them living on the road when touring. You just never know who you might meet at this event! Past artists have included Taylor Swift, Trace Adkins, Larry-The Cable Guy, Trisha Yearwood and many more. 20-30 recording artists will be there to meet fans and sign autographs.

All of this leads up to the big event when buses will pick up 400 children and take them to a Christmas Party held in their honor. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there and they will have lunch (donated by Garth Brooks), live music, and a whole lotta fun! After the party they get back on the buses and are taken to the Walmart in Hendersonville. Each child has a chaperone and are given $150.00 to buy anything they want. Each child also gets a brand new winter coat.

What an incredible way to get in the Christmas Spirit! If you haven’t been to the Christmas 4 Kids concert make sure and get on-line early next year to get your tickets! You won’t want to miss it!
