Maybe We Are At the Floor of Recession in Housing...

For the first time since 2005 the number of closed home sales was up from the same period during the previous year. Here in the southern region, the numbers for home prices were down only 8.7 percent as compared to 9.7 percent in June 2009. Per Steve Murray, editor of REAL Trends, the numbers tell the tale. With fall and winter just around the corner hopefully home prices and the real estate market will continue to stabilize taking us in to a stronger spring season.
