Residents of Smyrna and LaVergne have a real diamond in health care in Stonecrest Medical Center, located right at Sam Ridley Parkway and I-24. After experiencing a rushed visit to the emergency room earlier this week, I walked away impressed with the professionalism displayed by the entire staff there.

Stonecrest Hospital opened right after I moved here in 2003. While the hospital is brand new, the experience brought by those who work there is substantial. One of my dearest friends is an R.N. in the endo unit, so I hear about her colleagues and what wonderful talents they bring to our community.

Besides having these professionals right in our back yard, our location next to Nashville brings us that much closer to emergency medical treatment by doctors recognized as the BEST throughout the world. We are very fortunate in Rutherford County to have this impressive talent and compassion right here working for us.
