It’s that time again, and thankfully, earlier than in years past! Don’t forget to set your clocks one hour AHEAD this Sunday, March 8. I think most of us are ready for longer days and more daylight after the long winter….and we live in the South! I love our Nashville in the Spring. We are already seeing buttercups and crocus popping up, and the trees are budding. We’ll be seeing more people out enjoying Radnor Lake, Natchez Trail, and all the other wonderful recreation areas. The real estate market here is picking up, too. We have seen increased activity and more pendings than we’ve seen for several months. The interest rates are also still very low, and despite what you may hear, mortgage companies and banks are still loaning money. If you haven’t heard, the new homeowner tax credit for 2009 has passed, and that will mean an $8000 credit for those buyers.
